Schuetzenmattpark Meet-up

We learned of a meet-up of English speaking kids at Schuetzenmattpark on Tuesday mornings, so that's where he headed today.  Almost immediately we met a British nanny, Tina, and her two charges, Frasier and the older one whose name is escaping me but is something also charmingly British.  The kids got along so great and we now have plans to meet up at Lange Erlen on Thursday.  We stayed at the park for 3 hours, splashing, climbing, picnicking.  Next time we'll be even more prepared with our sidewalk chalk and sand toys.

It's no wonder these kids have been sleeping well at night!

  1. Yay, a fun day with kids who can understand Layla and Josh...and vice versa. You are so lucky you don't have the continual rain we are experiencing!

  2. I love seeing Josh in that Red Sox cap in every picture. A little piece of home while so far away! Little boys deserve baseball caps.

  3. He LOVES that cap. We have found him in the morning sleeping with it on. At some point in the night he asked Layla for it, she gave it to him, he put it on and went to sleep.
